From LNG Mega-trains to mid-sized modular units: an exploration of the investment risks in today’s LNG export terminals
Date: Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 08:30 am to 11:30 am
Value for attending
Since the start of the gas liquefaction and LNG export industry over 50 years ago, LNG train capacity has steadily increased as developers sought economy of scale. However, LNG market dynamics have encouraged a new breed of LNG terminal based upon a modular approach.
- In this presentation, DNV GL will review the industry experience and technical risks in modular projects such that the listener will develop an improved understanding of the overall risk picture of these projects compared to classic base load LNG technology
- The program will also encourage the participants to share their perspectives which could provide another invaluable opportunity for increased learning for all
- Graham Nott, Principal Engineer, Gas processing, Technology Group DNV GL Loughborough, United Kingdom
All attendees are invited to join our lunch program each day from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. Take this opportunity to network with our experts/speakers, your industry peers and explore the live demonstrations.
