Charleston Area Medical Center Health System (CAMCHS), a DNV-GL Healthcare Accredited health system, has been named a 2015 Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award recipient, one of the most prestigious national awards for performance excellence. CAMCHS was one of only four recipients, the only health care winner and, the first and only organization in West Virginia to ever receive the honor. The award will be presented by the Secretary of Commerce April 3-6, 2016 during a ceremony in Baltimore, MD.

Their performance excellence journey was forged over years of relentless focus on improving outcomes for their patients, being a great place to work for their providers and staff, and continuous improvements in their strategies and processes. This webinar will provide attendees an overview of CAMCHS Baldrige journey along with key learnings and take a ways that can be applied by hospitals to their own performance excellence journey. CAMCHS embraces the ISO quality management system to support their efforts and using this to their advantage.
