Wednesday, April 10, 2019 - Safety First: The role of Marine Warranty Services in Offshore Construction

The role of Marine Warranty Services (MWS) is one of the most important and often the most misunderstood on an offshore construction project. MWS ensures that all marine operations are carried out safely and within the boundaries of the various project warranties. The scope of responsibility extends from personnel safety to equipment operation and preventing damage to the structures being installed. The panel will provide an overview of MWS, the responsibility and liability undertaken by Marine Warranty Surveyors on a project as well as risks to the project when the MWS is not planned.
