Main Content
This  course is a combination of lectures and hands-on practice.
Lectures will cover:
- Basics of fatigue, including failure modes, common crack examples
- Fatigue analysis approach with tabulated SCFs, FE based hot-spot methodology, deterministic and stochastic analyses
Participants will solve practical design examples using DNV GL SESAM software:
- Simplified fatigue
- Component stochastic fatigue
- Full stochastic fatigue
The examples will cover a variety of floater types.
