The implementation of effective functional safety is valuable in ensuring that safety critical control and protective systems are appropriately specified, designed, installed and maintained. The safety systems, based on functionality and reliability, are designed to protect people, equipment, environment and investments/assets.
On April 11th, DNV GL will host a live Functional Safety webinar, based out of our Houston office. The webinar’s primary focus will be on our approach to Functional Safety along with the certification aspects within DNV GL’s Service Specification DNVGL-SE-0141. While the certification scope covers a multitude of functional safety standards, this webinar will concentrate on: IEC 61508 and IEC 61511.
Watch this webinar to learn:
- DNV GL’s process for functional safety and certification
- Main drivers for pursuing FS certification
- Examples of good practice in the application of functional safety
This webinar will be of interest to functional safety engineers, control and instrumentation engineers, safety, reliability and risk engineers, HSE/safety managers and technical authorities/regulators.
We hope you can join us and please share this email with colleagues who may also be interested to attend.
